The Quality Assurance Production and Preparation Group (QAPP) comprises of production/preparation and quality assurance representatives from all licensed manufacturing units and any units with aseptic activity in the North East. It meets every 3 months to share information and good practice on any issue affecting preparation and production of medicines in hospital trusts in the North East.

Yorkshire Technical Services Group

The Yorkshire Technical Group (YTSG) comprises production/preparation and quality assurance representatives from all licensed manufacturing units and unlicensed Aseptic Units in Yorkshire and the Humber. It meets to share information and good practice on any issue affecting preparation and production of medicines in NHS Hospital Trusts in the Yorkshire & Humber Region.

The group comprises of Managers of all the of the NHS QC laboratories in North East, Yorkshire and North West and the key Quality Assurance leads. The main aim of the group is sharing of information and good practice on quality assurance and quality control along with making  and implementing policy on quality assurance or quality control issues locally and contributing, via the Regional QA Specialists, to relevant national policies and standards
